Born in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, Rossi McKee is an inspiring and successful businesswoman with a long list of successful ventures. Rossi McKee is the owner of many companies with diverse scopes of work, including new technologies, media and event management, hospitality, and entertainment.
Rossi recalls her school years as an exciting time in her life. Her education was crucial in shaping her unique worldview. It impacted her perspective and enabled her to have a diverse perspective on life. She mentions that she studied at a school created under an experimental program with the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture. It aimed to stimulate the curiosity and exploration skills of students as well as develop individuals with a broad understanding of various global issues. Her passion for languages and art began at that time and has expanded throughout her life.
Rossi McKee was deeply inspired by the professional achievements of her parents. Her father was an inventor and successful businessman, and her mother was one of Bulgaria’s most regarded medical doctors in her field. While growing up around them, she learned what professional dedication, discipline, and commitment are. She also learned that with the proper mindset and hard work, everything is achievable.
After high school, Rossi followed in her mother’s footsteps and graduated as a medical doctor. As it turned out, she was destined to follow in her father’s footsteps. Her father died not long after
she graduated. In order to help her brother, Milo Borissov, she temporarily joined the family company. She quickly became engrossed in everything. This gradually became her new focus and paved her future career in the industry. A few years later, she earned an Executive MBA at Georgia State University as well as another business degree at Boston University. She completed her studies by earning a Ph.D. in marketing.
Rossi McKee considers herself a lifelong learner, and she is always improving her knowledge by attending workshops in digital technologies, conferences given by specialists in many fields, and online programs in all things business. Now, Rossi McKee is the owner and partner of several companies focused on new technologies, media and event management, hospitality, and entertainment.
