The museum is situated in the renowned Hold Street Market Hall in the heart of Budapest. This incredible space was formerly the famous Hold Street Market Hall, one of the city’s best-kept secrets. Without making any structural changes to the building, a completely new museum environment was constructed, using the Market Hall’s original features and providing a new purpose for the whole area while preserving its original layout and ambience.
